Catherine Fitzgerald

Chartered Physiotherapist, MISCP

Catherine was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick. She is passionate about promoting a balanced, active lifestyle. She coaches clients in group and 1:1 settings. She loves working with people who are struggling to achieve their fitness goals or those who are uncomfortable exercising in big commercial gyms.

About your Physio

My name is Catherine and I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist. I love working with people to achieve their fitness goals – whether this is climbing the stairs without difficulty, walking to the shop or running a marathon. I am passionate about helping to get people with chronic pain back to their pain-free selves. I am particularly interested in treating neck and shoulder issues in office workers and those working from home. If you have tried pain-killers, gone to your GP and nothing seems to quite solve the issue, then Sports Physio Ireland might be the place for you. 

I love working closely with clients to achieve their goals. I particularly enjoy adapting exercise plans to fit people’s lifestyles and fitness levels. I know that exercising in big gyms can be intimidating and I enjoy helping people to gain confidence while exercising and bring out the best in them.

I have always been passionate about sports and this is where I developed an interest in physiotherapy. I enjoy camógie, hiking and going to the gym.
