Within 5 minutes of my first session, I was given more concise information than the previous 12 months combined (with 3 different physios), with more clarity in my diagnosis, as well as a precise path to recovery. Mossie is my physio and he absolutely brilliant. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable, very succinct in his communication (no jargon whatsoever) and an all around gentleman. The sessions themselves are very detail-orientated, with the clearly defined goal of recovery. I have had a considerable increase in mobility and strength, as well as a big decrease in pain. Also my confidence has been totally restored, so I'm really positive about returning to full fitness. As mentioned, I did an online/virtual session and it was really practical as I was able to get a great session in from the comfort of my home. Overall, my experience has been exceptional. “I initially attended a physio (Paddy) in Sports Physio Ireland, liked the atmosphere in the place and decided to try the 21-day trial. I hadn't been to the gym in a while, so I initially felt very apprehensive and a bit self-conscious. The staff were amazing, though - friendly, helpful and extremely professional throughout. I found the sessions intense and demanding but definitely doable; we were pushed hard but never beyond our limits. I really liked the fact that everything was highly organised and went smoothly at all times. And I also liked the feedback available from the trainers continuously during the sessions. The 21-trial, then, was a very positive experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to achieve a higher level of fitness quickly - without getting injured. It's suitable for all ages - even for people like me approaching 60. My only complaint about the 21-day trial is that I lost quite a lot of the beer belly that I had invested heavily in over the years. The waistline of my jeans is too wide now, so I need to buy a new pair. It's all your fault, Sports Physio Ireland!”

“Back in November, I fell and fractured a joint in my left middle finger. After it healed, I was left with limited flexibility and was unsure how much I'd be able to recover. Thankfully, Sean at Sports Physio was well-versed in providing finger and hand-based physiotherapy, and by December, my finger had recovered to the point where I experienced practically no resistance or pain in my joint. “Really excellent. I ruptured my ACL in Aug and had surgery in September and had been going each week to Sports Physio Ireland for rehab with Sean McGrath. The ACL is long injury to come back from and one of the most satisfying aspects the rehab was the advice I got that no two acls are the same and everyone needs a different rehab approach. Due to me requiring a hamstring graft and some other knee complications from jumpers knee, my rehab was not straight forward. However SPI really excelled in not providing a pro forma approach but rather a tailored approach specific to me and my body requirements. Each week videos were taken and explained with weakness pointed out and worked on. Even during co-vid, zoom was used to continue the work. Happy to report I am now back fully and running/jumping/turning with no issues and looking forward to a return to rugby. Would highly recommend for any injuries in particular torn ACL.”

“I joined Sports Physio Ireland a year ago this week. I originally joined on the 21 day program after that period I enjoyed it so much ended up joining for 6 months. It was a great experience. I was extremely overweight and unfit the first day I went in. That was the worst day of the whole experience. It is intimating but the whole team made me feel welcome from day one. Especially Paddy any issues I had they were straight over for alternative exercises or recovery work. For instance I started running 5/10kms during the process and was getting really bad pains on the outside of my kneecaps. Paddy had me doing one legged wall squats to strengthen them as much as possible and the issue went away completely. I lost a ton of weight throughout the process and this week I was in for my annual medical this the doctor could not believe how much my BMI had dropped and my overall improvement in my health in general since last years medical. ”

“I visited Sports Physio Ireland and met Moss Landman to try and sort out calf injurys that have given me trouble for a number of years. A new injury/tear prompted my research into a clinic in Dublin's City Centre (close to my office) and after some research and its central location, I booked an appointment. Moss met me and I immediately felt comfortable with the environment. We started off the first session speaking about what I wanted from our time together and then we went into some dry needling on the injured calf. Every subsequent session Moss went through my excerises, took videos of me doing them and sent them to me following our session so that I could continue my rehab at home. “I’ve had little or no Gym experience when signing up to Sports Physio Ireland for the 6 session intro offer. It’s the best thing I’ve done no question. I’m into my second month and will be signing up for my third. This Gym suits everyone from beginners to very fit individuals. The lads who lead the sessions create a professional friendly atmosphere. They push you hard but also know when to back off (usually the Monday morning sessions) I joined SPI because of a long term shoulder injury and lower back issues due to all the driving I do. I can report at the end of my second month I’m feeling stronger, the shoulder is feeling great and I genuinely look forward to the early morning sessions twice a week. I would highly recommend this route for those intimidated by joining a Gym or just putting off getting started. The lads will motivate you and the friendly atmosphere will keep you coming back. I couldn’t recommend Sports Physio Ireland highly enough.”
