Mr. Joseph Boland

Owner and Head Physiotherapsist

Joey Boland is the owner of Sports Physio Ireland a Senior Dublin hurler (08-present). He is a chartered physiotherapist (2010) who is currently completing a master in Sports and Exercise medicine who specialises in ACL rehabilitation and chronic low back and hip injury rehabilitation. Joey also has a regular column in the Evening Herald on physiotherapy matters.


Mr. Thomas Divilly

Chartered Physiotherapist / Personal Trainer 

Thomas has a First Class honours degree in Physiotherapy and is currently completing his MSc in Advanced Sports Physiotherapy. Thomas has a special interest in functional rehabilitation and using strength and conditioning principles to help clients to return to play. He has a special interest in hip and ankle injuries in both the elite athlete and the weekend warrior.

Mr Moss Landman

Chartered Physiotherapist / Personal Trainer / Pilates 

Moss graduated from University College Dublin with a first class honours degree in 2013.

He went on to work in another private practice before moving to Sports Physio Ireland in January of this year. Outside of private practice Moss has worked as lead Physiotherapist with UCD GAA and also with the Irish 7-a-side soccer team. He is now in his 3rd season working with the Dublin Senior Hurling team. 

His main interests include sports injury rehabilitation, nutrition/body composition, strength and conditioning & personal training. He also has a keen interest in golf & golf fitness and is a certified Pilates instructor. 

Ellie Hartnett SPI Physio

Ms. Ellie Hartnett

Chartered Physiotherapist / Personal Trainer

Ellie graduated from University College Dublin in 2015. She then went onto the UK where she worked in private practice. Ellie has volunteered abroad in South India and Uganda where she worked providing physiotherapy for children with disability. As a result she has real interest in disability in sport, and has recently become a Paralympic Athletics Classifier.

Ellie is a keen runner herself competing in the 800m and 1500m on the track as well as cross country and road races. She has a particular interest in running injuries of the lower limb, and the strength and conditioning involved to prevent such injuries.

Mr. Seamus Kennedy

Chartered Physiotherapist / Personal Trainer 

Seamus graduated from UCD in 2016 with an honours degree.

Directly after college he began working in Leinster Rugby with the senior and academy players. It was here that he developed a particular interest for training load  management and combining traditional physiotherapy rehab with the most up to date return to play protocols.

He is currently head physiotherapist for Seapoint senior rugby team, Round Towers GAA club and CUS Senior and Junior cup teams.

He specialises in individualised return to play plans for all levels of athletes, helping them to manage their work load, Strength and Conditioning programmes, and rehab to ensure they return a better athlete.


Mr. Paddy Hannon

Chartered Physiotherapist / Personal Trainer

Paddy graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2017.

He has plenty experience in the sports physiotherapy field as he has previously worked with GAA teams including Galway Senior Footballers and Dublin Underage Hurling.

He has a particular interest in rehabilitation of sporting injuries, training load and S&C aimed at injury prevention in GAA/Rugby. In terms of personal training, Paddy specialises in exercise load education and body conditioning.
